This guide shows the crafting quests and lists the items you are required to craft in order to complete the Crafting Quests along with information to craft them. This is a work in progress. Any additional information or corrections is appreciated I'm still in need of pictures of the school specific quest to craft robes. This piece of gear, in my opinion, falls slightly behind Krokopatra's hat, but either is a solid choice. This Darkmoor staple is still one of the most well-rounded pieces of gear available and best overall options for your wizard.

Make sure you have enough reagent for the item you are trying to craft. If you don't, It won't let you. |

Re: slot ready ... but can not craft Are you sure one of them is neither the mount timer or pet hatch timer? Look at the icons on the right of the timers. |

Re: slot ready ... but can not craft I had a similar thing happen yesterday. I filled up my crafting slots and waited for one to become available again, but when I tried to craft something else the button was still grayed out, and it wouldn't let me craft. I quit the program and logged back in. Problem solved. Maybe that solved your problem too? The other possibility is you didn't have all the reagents necessary for what you were crafting, but didn't notice. |

Re: slot ready ... but can not craft If you want KingsIsle to answer it, you're better off sending in a ticket to support@wizard101.com I know that the slots have a cool-down time, but you've probably waited that out already. This has been reported as a bug as far back as two years ago. I've read that one way to fix it is to leave your dorm/house and then reenter it. Logging off and on also has been said to fix it. |

Re: slot ready ... but can not craft Actually, sometimes, if you watched your timer end, you have to leave your home, then go back inside and you will be able to craft again...

Re: slot ready ... but can not craft Also, check what crafting slot is needed. Some higher level equips can not be crafted in your home or dorm. If you look at the type of crafting station needed, and it says 'Grizzleheim', then you need to craft it in the Hall of the Ice Forge in Northguard. There is also a crafting station outside Malistaire's Lair in DS, but none of my recipes have sent me there yet. |

Wizard101 Crafting Slots

Crafting Wizard101's Crafting system lets players create hundreds of new items - all new hats, jewelry, robes, wands and other equipment. This equipment includes items that span bonuses for multiple schools. They will exist in all combinations, and can enhance spells from your primary school, and any other school's spells that you have learned. You can also craft Furniture and Treasure Cards! Recipes Crafting requires recipes. You can purchase your first recipes from Eudora Tangletree in Olde Town. Most quest recipes can be purchased from the character that gives you the quest. Other recipes can be found at shopkeepers throughout the Spiral, and as drops on bosses. Each recipe requires different ingredients - these ingredients are called Reagents. Each recipe will indicate the type of Crafting Table it requires to complete. Hover over this icon in the Crafting window to see the type of Crafting Table you will need for this recipe.

| Crafting Crafting requires a Crafting Station. You can get your first crafting station by completing quests for Eudora Tangletree in Wizard City Olde Town. When you get your Crafting Station, place it in your Dorm or Castle. If you have an available Crafting Slot, a Recipe and the Reagents required, you can begin crafting! Additional types of Crafting Stations can be purchased at vendors throughout the Spiral, and you will need different types of Crafting Stations for crafting different types of items. Crafting Slots & Cooldown Timers Players have Crafting Slots where items are placed that are in the process of being crafted. Each item crafted takes up 1 Crafting Slot. Crafting slots are awarded through Quests. You can get your first Crafting Slot by doing quests for Eudora Tangletree in Olde Town. Once an item is created, a Cooldown timer will be started on that Crafting Slot. For each Slot you receive there will be a new timer on your Character Page. If you craft something, the timer on the Character Page will show the cooldown time that you need to wait before that Slot can be used again.
